Shoko Toda

Shoko-Sensei’s classes are always so good! She provides the same questions at the beginning of each class so I can get into the practice of how to answer. The topics she comes up with are very useful and enjoyable. I highly recommend her, especially if you’re new to Japanese

ありがとうございました！Another great lesson with しょこ先生。This week Shoko taught me more kanji, we did a JLPT N5 kanji review, reviewed the より、のほうが comparisons and learnt how to conjugate adjectives into the くて、で forms! また来週ね！

I have been having lessons with Shoko先生 for a while now. Not only has she helped me significantly improve my Japanese, but she also helped me to prepare for my trip to Japan. She provided me a lesson that reviewed information and subjects that would be most useful during my trip. For example, hair salon terms and questions (as I will visit a salon while there). I appreciate that she always goes above and beyond to make sure I understand each concept. She also has made it easy for me to discuss topics, in Japanese, that I normally speak about in my native language so I feel myself becoming more comfortable speaking each lesson. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons! Thank you Shoko 先生！

I’ve had a few lessons and I already feel confident and motivated. Shoko 先生 always takes the time to make sure I understand everything and answers my questions thoroughly. The homework and flash cards she provides have allowed me to remember the lesson and apply the knowledge I’ve accumulated. I appreciate you, Shoko 先生, for your efforts!

Shoko先生 is truly an incredible teacher! I have improved so much in the time that I have been taking lessons with her! She is so patient and caring and we have great conversations every lesson. 10/10 recommend!
