Hi, everyone!
My name is Simona. I'm German and currently living in Verona, Italy, where I first came for my Erasmus exchange. I studied International Cultural and Business Studies in Passau, Germany, as well as Foreign Languages and Literatures in Verona. After completing my Bachelor's Degree, I decided to stay in Italy - and I’ve been enjoying life in this wonderful city since 2017.
Over the years, I've improved my Italian to a C1 level, so I know exactly what it means to learn a foreign language and build confidence step by step.
In my free time, I love reading, spending time with my friends and traveling - I’m especially passionate about animals and have a dog!Ik als leerkracht
I began teaching conversational German in 2021.
My linguistic studies in both Germany and Italy have helped me understand the challenges language learners face, which allows me to better support your individual needs.
My friends often describe me as patient, and I truly enjoy helping others learn. I’m passionate about teaching and would love to guide you as you discover my beautiful native language.

I offer lessons starting from the completed A2 level.
In our sessions, we’ll work together to find the learning methods that suit you best, based on your preferences and your current level - whether you’re an intermediate or advanced learner.
From my experience, speaking is the most effective way to improve quickly, so I place a strong focus on oral communication. I will gently correct your mistakes and help you build confidence step by step.

Simona is truly a lovely person who is very pleasant to talk to, as well as being an excellent teacher. She is competent, kind, professional, and down-to-earth all at the same time. With her, it is easy to tackle various topics and try to express yourself without feeling judged, which makes it possible to turn the lesson into a very pleasant chat. Personally, I was looking for someone to help me recover some of my German and allow me to gain some confidence, and she is truly fantastic at this. It's clear she loves what she does, and that's what makes the difference!

Simona is not only an excellent teacher but also a great humain being. I was taking classes with her last year and she helped me overcome my difficulties while being kind, pacient and consistent. She always had excellent ideas and and suggested interesting ideas to work on my weaknesses. I strongly recommend her classes!
