Hello everyone! I am a native English speaker from the States, born and raised. I have studied Linguistics at UCSD (University of California San Diego). I love to travel to learn about different cultures and languages. I can only speak English and Vietnamese, but I have dabbled in a few other languages: Hmong, Japanese, Spanish, Xhosa, Cantonese, American Sign Language and Vietnamese Sign Language. Since I am also a language learner myself, I understand the struggles when it comes to learning different languages. When I learn try to learn a new language, I normally focus on pronunciation first. Sometimes we don't notice sounds in a foreign language because it's not in our own native language so I think it's important to become more aware of those sounds and also the flow and melody of the language you are learning.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

Since the beginning of the lesson I felt very comfortable with David, he listened and corrected my pronunciation with examples. I only booked a 30 min trial lesson, but I’m definitely looking forward to improve my English with David.
