Today, we talked about our weeks, anime, and manga. We recommended various manga for each other to look into. I hope Sayumi-san enjoys some of the manga I mentioned!

We conversed about our plans for the weekend and eventually landed on food. I learned about the different kinds of food at an izakaya. Eventually, we discussed eggs and various ways to prepare them.

Thanks again for the lesson Sayumi sensei. Though I study consistently and always do the homework you give me, I know I still struggle with some of what I learned in our lessons. Calling it a mental obstacle for lack of a better term. I accept that making mistakes is part of the learning process, but I canât shake this feeling that I should be knowing more now. Just got to figure out a way to overcome my current struggles with learning Japanese so I can continue to improve. No rushing of course, but I hope Iâm not taking too long to improve either. The Genki textbook helps, but I also feel I gotta practice having conversations so I can speak more Japanese sentences more naturally. I await your feedback Sayumi sensei. Thanks again ðâºïž

We had a great time discussing different flowers and their meanings. My favorite flowers are carnations and the meaning changes depending on their color. I also learned about different parts of Japanese culture regarding superstitions and jokes.
