Haley is organized, energetic and patient. Her curiosity can fuel conversation and her organized lessons ensure that there is material to study beforehand and to practice during class. The hour passes quickly because of Haley's ability to change activities according to my energy.

Haley is an exceptional teacher whom I highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their Chinese. I've been taking classes with her for over a year and I consistently leave class feel energized and inspired. Haley exemplifies the key skill that is required to be a great italki teacher - namely, being an interesting, energetic, and inquisitive conversationalist. While she has many materials available including books and powerpoints, we rarely end up using these, because just chatting is such a pleasure that additional structure is rarely necessary. After each session, she writes up a summary of any mistakes or new words with translations and pinyin, which is a great learning tool. If you are looking for an engaging and fun teacher who is equally invested in your language learning journey and in genuinely getting to know each other, look no farther than Haley!
