I have been teaching English full time since 2016. From 2016 to 2020 I taught at companies, public institutions and law firms in Madrid as well as immersion courses for university students all over Spain. Since 2020, I have been working online only.
I am also a qualified lawyer and practiced law in England for 8 years. My interests are music, films, TV, sport, travel, photography and current affairs.Ik als leerkracht
I prefer topic-based conversational sessions to improve vocabulary and fluency. If the student would like to practice grammar, reading or listening I have access to a wide variety of suitable coursebooks and other materials to use for this purpose.
From my years of experience of teaching Spanish students, I am very familiar with the mistakes commonly made by Spanish speakers, 'false friends' in vocabulary etc. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I can tailor sessions to the student's area of interest(s) and can provide materials for the student to work on at home, whether this be grammar exercises, reading or listening.
