Hi! I’m Daniel, a native Spanish teacher from Cuernavaca Mexico. I help students in the United States communicate naturally in real-life situations—at work, in their community, or while traveling. Do you want to talk to coworkers or clients, connect with Spanish speakers, or feel confident in conversations? I can help. My classes combine real Mexican Spanish, culture, and practical situations, including everyday expressions and how people actually speak. With over 14 years of experience, I help you go from understanding to actually speaking. I’ve been teaching languages since 2012 and hold TESOL and TEFL certifications, along with a BA in Language Education. Students often tell me: “I finally understand Spanish now.” I’m very patient and explain things in a clear, simple, real-life way. You won’t feel lost or overwhelmed. I’ve worked with professionals (lawyers, paramedics, artists...), travelers, and students who felt stuck understanding but not speaking. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, build confidence, and start speaking Spanish naturally from day one. My classes are practical, structured, and conversation-focused. You will practice real-life conversations, learn useful vocabulary, and improve speaking and listening step by step. I use a clear structure (Presentation, Practice, Production) so you understand, practice, and use Spanish in real situations. In your first lesson, we will discuss your goals, identify your level, and start speaking right away....

Daniel is an excellent Spanish teacher! I have learned so much taking classes with him these past 6 months, and I know that I’ll continue to make much progress. I like the way he reviews things from previous lessons and sends links and resources for practice exercises. He is also very easy to talk to and fun to learn with! I couldn’t ask for a better teacher to learn Spanish with and would give him 20 stars if I could!

Again, we've had another great class. I am finding the PDF/book he provided very helpful. The exercises are simple, making it easier to focus on the Spanish content itself, rather than confusing exercises. He works at the perfect pace for me. I presume he is excellent at adapting to anyone's style. For me, he is an ideal teacher because of his resources provided, his personability, and his pacing. Looking forward to the next one!
