I signed up on italki to practise conversing in French and have had lessons with a few different teachers, and Marie is my favourite so far. She is patient and encouraging and really helps me gain confidence in communicating and expressing myself in the language. Along the way she also teaches me new vocubulary, explains different grammar concepts clearly, and provides me with exercises to practise certain sentence structures, which I also find very helpful.

I was recommended to Marie after struggling to find a tutor I felt comfortable with, and I’m so glad I found her. After more than 10 lessons, I already feel much more confident speaking French. Marie is very patient and creates a relaxed environment, while still correcting mistakes in a really helpful and encouraging way. Her lessons are always well prepared and structured, with useful homework between sessions.
