I've had 9 lessons with Rie-sensei now, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is very patient with me (I am still very novice!) and engages with me brilliantly, and has made me feel very comfortable trying to push myself and try to give more complex answers which is helping me a lot - and should say a lot as I am not made comfortable very easily! She's excellent, a great listener, encouraging and just very very good at what she does.

Rie-san is an incredible teacher. She provided quality reading practice and enhanced my understanding of Japanese culturally as well as linguistically. Above all else, every lesson was relaxed, enjoyable, and something I genuinely looked forward to every week. I can't recommend her enough! If you are considering booking a lesson with her, just do it!

I love my lessons with Rie. She quickly adjusted to my language level and is extremely patient with me. I truly enjoy learning the language with her, and I feel that I’m making great progress.

"The Best Teacher in Town". Rie sensei will teach you grammar and a lot of vocabulary that are useful in daily conversation. She always listens to you very attentively and helps to correct your grammar. A very bright and sunny person that you can feel very safe and comfortable to talk with.
