I found François to be an engaging conversation partner. We discussed high-level topics like AI, ethics, and interstellar travel. His corrections were clear and helpful without disrupting the flow. I definitely recommend him - particularly for those who want more interesting conversations than the typical "tutoring basics". I will certainly be booking again!

I took my first French lesson with him. Since 2009, I've never spoken any single word in French. But surprisingly, i've experienced that I could remind of my forgotten French during such a short class. Since I am also learning Portuguese at the moment, we can sometimes 'use' Portuguese as an intermediate language for a sort of 'stacking language' skill, because he is also very fluent in Portuguese. So excited to have next lesson.

Francois has been interjecting numbers in my basic learning of French verbs, which is interesting and fun and frustrating, but mostly fun - like little brain teasers while getting me to practice saying, and thinking about, numbers - quantities, time, etc.

This was my first lesson at Italki, I was a little nervous to speak French at the beginning, but François patiently guided me to talk more, and I felt a bit more confident after the lesson. I like how naturally the conversation flows, François always jumps in at the right time to helped me correct grammar mistakes and find the right word.

François is a good teacher. He is particularly strong at role-playing real-world business French scenarios, which makes each lesson practical and engaging. He is friendly and easy to talk to, while also being very attentive about correcting mistakes in a clear and constructive way. I recommend him for anyone looking to improve their professional French.
