Hey there!
I'm a language learner, just like you. I'm currently learning French, Italian and Korean. In the past, I used to learn Japanese and Spanish. I have been learning English since 4 years of age. I love series, reading books (mostly thrillers or fantasy) and I absolutely enjoy k-pop. I'm very patient, open, friendly and based on the reviews of my students, I'm a good teacher, too. I'm very understanding and hey, we all make tons of mistakes when learning a foreign language: it's natural. I don't accept any rude behaviour. If you'll want to ask me anything, just feel free to. I'd describe myself as very hard-working. I'm not someone who'll yell at you through your screen or be a distant kind of person. I'm enjoying my students' presence on my lessons. I get to know to them and their language experiences. I give homeworks (but if you won't do them on time, I'm not causing drama over it). However, if you refuse any kind of homework and you're more of a "let's just focus on the stuff during lessons", that's okay. I prepare my materials with a lot of thought put in my work so you will never see me unprepared for any kind of situation. We can chat and talk and through that ways gain new vocabulary or we can have formal lessons with grammar & e.g. tests. Up to you! :)Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
All I want to say is that it's YOUR language journey to take. I'm here as your tutor. I'll be very professional, patient and give you all the knowledge you'll find necessary.
However, I've got some amazing language programs to offer: I call it the "5 phases of Slovak/English." In 5 sessions you'll be able to learn a lot and all I'll need is to know your level of language. If you decide to contact me or straightaway book a lesson, I'll send you these offers and in case of any interest, you can choose one of them. :)

Johanna always prepares materials to meet student's needs. We had great conversational lessons and she helped me feel more confident in speaking. She also does something that most of the teacher can't - She cares a lot :)

Johanna is an amazing teacher! I just commenced on my Slovak journey and had some questions that I couldn't solve myself (even chatgpt wasnt much of help). She is ready to help you with even very bits of Slovak you are trying to speak, so you feel comfortable even tho your sentences are half-English half-Slovak xD
