I’m Japanese where I lived my youth then I moved to Brazil. Moving from one country to another help me to understand the importance of learning new languages. To acquire a new language takes time and effort but the payback is huge. The opportunities and adventures are endless.
It is said that if you learn a new language you get a new soul, I think that a new language opens new windows to the world.
My hobbies are clay craft (game characters, anime characters), sewing, watching anime, games, and eating sweets.

To learn a new language should be a lot of fun, a source of joy and good time, however many people try and get frustrated. We all can learn as many languages as we want, but we should learn in natural way, like any child learns his mother tongue.
As adults we frequently try to learn a new language in ways that are just not conductive. Dry repetition and memorization don’t help. A language is much more than words, a new language is like a new life.
Japanese is a fascinating language of a fascinating country. I love to teach Japanese and about our food, our order and good manners, the anime and manga and many other fantastic oddities that exist only in Japan.
Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
We can talk or we can do some reading and comprehension exercises, we can study Kanjis, or follow a text book.
Everybody is different and I adapt the classes to meet your needs. If your and advance student preparing to take the N1 or if you had never study Hiragana it would be a pleasure to help you.
Once we find the best way for you to learn your classes would be fun and productive.

I absolutely LOVE Yumi. Have already done many lessons with her and whenever we talk, it really feels as if I can understand pretty much everything, because of the way she repeats what I want to say (even if I make a LOT of mistakes), and also because she pronounces very clearly and her Japanese is quite easy to understand.

I took a different approach and practiced Portuguese. I learned a few Japanese words, too. Yumi's story is very interesting. I think we learned new things.
Post-script: I said "yandere." However, the word was "Tsundere."
