I highly recommend for all levels and experience. Hanan is an excellent teacher who has a very helpful way of providing feedback after each lesson. She generates a list of new words/phrases and a voice recording so you can learn the vocab on your own, which is my favorite thing. During the lesson, she is clearly very experienced teaching foreigners, and her methods make you feel that you're getting a lot of value from a professional teacher, not just a native speaker. I have had ten different teachers over my time learning Arabic, so I know what a good teacher is, and Hanan is definitely at the top.

Hanan has a whole curriculum figured out from the beginning and is straight-to-the-point, which gives the student plenty of time to learn new stuff and practice it immediately! She checks in with the student frequently to see if everything is going well, which I appreciate. At the end of the lesson, Hanan did something I have never seen another teacher do: she did a recap of the entire lesson on the spot while recording herself and then sent me all of the PDFs we used in the lesson plus the recording for future reference. I love that, because I got a real-time summary and also materials to save me in the future! Thank you for the wonderful lesson, Hanan!

I’ve had five lessons with Hanan so far, and I’m really grateful I found her. I started with absolutely zero Arabic, and I was honestly nervous at first, but she immediately made me feel comfortable. She is so kind and patient and never makes me feel embarrassed when I forget something (even multiple times) or mispronounce a word. She explains things in a way that just makes sense, and she gives lots of examples that really help everything stick. The lessons feel structured but also relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. She also provides all the materials, and the homework is practicing what we covered in class, which makes it feel manageable and not overwhelming. I especially appreciate the recordings she sends. I replay them when I practice on my own and they help so much. I’m really happy to be learning with Hanan and truly look forward to our classes!

I've been meeting with Hanan for almost six months now, and I've definitely seen an improvement in my spoken Levantine Arabic. She's organized and thoughtful in the way that she gets me to open up about my day-to-day in order to bring new vocabulary into the fold. At the end of each lesson, she's great about making time to write down the new words we've reviewed during our time together, and she also says them in a sentence and gives me the pronunciation. I also enjoy when I don't understand something about grammar, she takes the time to give examples of how particular grammatical constructions works and empowers me to provide examples of my own. Hanan is a wonderful teacher 100 recommend her to anyone looking to improve their spoken Arabic!

I’ve really loved continuing my Arabic lessons with Hanan! We’ve officially finished learning the alphabet, and now we’re working on conjugating verbs, putting together sentences, and constantly learning new vocabulary. It’s so exciting to start seeing everything come together! Hanan is so kind, patient, and encouraging. She creates such a comfortable environment to practice speaking, and I never feel embarrassed if I pronounce something incorrectly or need to go over something again. She genuinely wants you to learn and is always happy to slow down, repeat things, or explain them in a different way. I really appreciate the recordings she sends me. Being able to hear her pronunciation and practice on my own between lessons helps me remember new words and feel more confident speaking. I always look forward to our lessons and leave feeling like I’ve learned something new!
