Hi there! I'm SoSo, 35 years old, a native Japanese. I was so obsessed to teach Japanese that I decided to do it as a professional. I also enjoy being a "furry", which is an otaku for animal characters. I travel around for furry events.
Beside of that geeky activity, I had worked in an animal hospital and an animal shelter before. So I'm familiar with animals and animal issues in Japan.

I started my career as a volunteer Japanese tutor. After 1 year of tutoring in a conversational class, I started online private lessons. I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in 2020, and completed the Japanese Language Teacher Training Course in 2021.

SoSo is a very friendly and approachable teacher for conversation practice! In our lessons he helps me understand and use increasingly advanced grammar, while also teaching me new and important vocabulary words. I highly recommend him if you're interested in learning and/or practicing your Japanese!

I have been studying with SoSo for almost 2 years now. He is a patient, knowledgable, experienced, and kind teacher. I have learned so much from him and have gone from having very rusty Japanese to being able to meet new people, perform transactions in Japanese, and have previously inaccessible experiences!

As my first italki lesson, the lesson with SoSo was a great experience! I learned lots of things already just from a single lesson, and it was lots of fun as well!
