I am TESOL-certified, and I’ve been teaching business English online since 2016, assisting professionals with their emails, presentations, and speeches. I’m a professional translator and proofreader of books and magazines, too. Part of my experience as a translator was interpreting a large Filipino convention into English to benefit the hundreds of English-speaking guests from the USA. I did a simultaneous interpretation before a large crowd of delegates. I was also a DJ before at an FM Radio station in the country. I played music and delivered top-of-the-hour news live on air. As a language teacher, I'm very considerate. I know how it feels to be a first-time learner. So I understand what it's like to learn a new language. I'm patient, and I encourage my students to ask questions and clarify some grammar points that are difficult for them. Moreover, I'm also an e-book author, that's why I'm very particular with spelling and word choice. I love sharing my expertise with all students, so in my class, I let them use the chat box, too, when necessary, so I could help them improve not just their speaking, but their writing skills as well.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I want my students to enjoy the lessons and have fun while learning. My class is always interactive. I give my students more talk time to practice their speaking skills. I encourage them to form sentences out of the new words and phrases that I always teach in class. Vocabulary is important, but pronunciation is essential as well so as not to confuse the meaning.Mijn lesmateriaal
