Mei is definitely one of the best tutors for English speakers! Even for absolute beginners it's very important to learn subtle nuances of meaning in the Japanese language and it feels so great having an experienced teacher explain those things to me right on the spot whenever questions arise spontaneously and expand a little right from there. Mei has a very pleasant and clear voice and that's great for training listening and pronunciation (because it's easier to imitate). Enjoyed the lesson very much. ありがとうございます 🙏

Mei is a fantastic teacher, we had a wonderful lesson! We had a great conversation in Japanese, she adjusted to my level and gave feedback and helpful instructions. My confidence felt much higher at the end of the lesson. Additionally, she provides a pdf lesson summary afterwards, with topics covered and new vocabulary/phrases. I highly recommend taking lessons from Mei!

She is really lovely! She encourages me when ever I get stuck she is there to help. She explains the sentence and new words to me. She also gives examples when needed too! I can’t wait to have another appointment with her again!
