Since I graduated from Uni, I've been working in a company in Japan and Europe.
I've been a pro kickboxer since I was 16 and I'm the Okinawa champion.
I'm good at coaching you on minute differences between Japanese and English in an easy way so You can logically understand step by step.

1) I've been a Japanese teacher at a college school in the US Air Force base in Japan.
2) My primary focus is to build vocabulary so students can boldly lead discussions, and speak fluently.
3) I've trained exchange students, engineers, college students, children, and so on.
4) I've also worked as a guesthouse staff and office worker in Japan, so I'm used to explaining Japanese culture and manners to tourists and expatriates :)
5) I was ever praised by my friends and students for my teaching methods.
As a result, most of my friends were able to pass the JLPT-N1 and N2 test with my support and some of them are working as skilled workers in Japan.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

I always have a great time in class and learn a lot. Ryoma makes the classes very interactive and is a great listener, making sure to correct any minor mistakes while encouraging further conversation. His English is very good and it's something you can always fall back on in case you forget a word or can't manage to say something correctly. I've been progressing greatly and will continue to take his class.

This was my first italki lesson, and I really enjoyed it. My goal is to be ready to speak and have conversations by the time I visit Japan in February 2026, and Ryoma sensei gave me great advice and perspective for how much I should study to achieve this goal.

Ryoma-san is great. He adapts easily to whatever you need and can understand the different issues a student has swiftly. He also knows his English and it makes it easier for us beginners to feel like we can express ourselves and get our message across. Great find!
