I am Ilham, a 24-year-old tutor from Algeria, North Africa, currently pursuing my medical studies in Antalya, Turkey. I am a native Arabic and French speaker and I learned English at a very young age. I've been living in Turkey for 2 years now, so I mostly communicate in Turkish in my daily life. As you can see, I fluently speak, read and write 4 languages. I enjoy teaching languages and I've been helping people from all over the world to learn and practice languages. I am here on italki as a French, Arabic and Turkish tutor. My classes are based on conversational skills because I believe that the best way to master a new language is to practice it. My lessons will be focusing on talking, we willl have different topics to discuss and talk about. The goal is to make you speak as much as possible and help you become more confident. I am a very flexible teacher so I will try to adapt to your pace. I try to use creative and fun ways to teach my students and for that i'm using several types of documents. My first lesson with Ilham was excellent. She is warm, patient and very kind. She took the time to understand my background and languages in order to plan the lessons at the right pace. Even though I was a bit nervous, she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The fact that she speaks both French and English with native-like fluency adds so much value to the lessons. I’m really looking forward to continuing with her for my Algerian dialect conversation lessons!
