Hiyori 日和

日和先生は一番先生！ 今日のクラスはとても楽しくて、手伝います！ She is very kind and super fun to work with. She pushes me to the next level and motivates me to keep going.

It just occurred to me that Hiyoriさん has an incredible ability to draw out (of me) some fairly complicated grammar and vocab during our conversations. I'm realizing that it's normally with Hiyoriさん that I use a grammar concept or word for the first time. These grammar concepts might be something I've heard passively, and because of the topics we speak about, I finally have the ability to attempt to use them. As a consequence, I feel so accomplished when I do so, and that's thanks to Hiyoriさん's skills as a conversationalist.

Hiyori先生 is so easy to talk to and patient! She kindly accommodates my needs and adjusts to my beginner level. Talking with her makes me feel calm and relaxed, and I feel understood and heard. I also appreciate that she speaks only in Japanese, even when I don’t understand everything. She patiently waits until I understand and explains things in a simple way. This helps me fully immerse myself in the language and learn directly from her words. 毎授業本当に楽しくて勉強になります。ありがとうございます！

So much fun!! Hiyori Sensei is so patient and encouraging!

Hiyoriさんis the best. She is so patient and encouraging; Classes are not at all stressful, but a chance for me to practice what I have learned and to build my Japanese in a pleasant/relaxed environment. After class she also records an audio of the words I struggled with.
