Hi! I am Barshali Dey from New Delhi, India and I am a native speaker of both Hindi and Bengali, and I'm fluent in English because I have been studying this language since my childhood. So, I am here to help you with all the three languages. Currently, I am pursuing my bachelor's (major in psychology and minor in English). Some of my hobbies include composing music, playing guitar and piano, traveling, and cooking. I love exploring new places, new cultures, learning new languages, meeting and interacting with new people from all over the world. I am jovial by nature, a patient listener, and a compassionate teacher. With me, you will learn your target language in the easiest and the best possible way. I will make sure to make you as comfortable as possible. I strongly believe that the best learning takes place inside of a casual conversation and in a friendly environment, rather than in a formal setting with strict rules and regulations. During our lessons, I would encourage you to speak more about diverse topics of your interest, and I would give you corrections at the end of the lessons rather than interrupting you in between conversations because I really think that the conversations should naturally flow from the student. Since I myself am learning two foreign languages, I know that having conversations in your target language as many times as possible is the key to attain fluency and speaking with confidence, and that is why my entire focus will be on healthy conversations. I will also give you vocabulary suggestions, pronunciation, and grammar corrections, and help you with using correct sentences (sentence structure). I aim to make my lessons fun and interactive, and I encourage you to make mistakes since mistakes are the stepping stones to learning. I'll be there to help you and guide you throughout your language learning journey.

This was the first lesson with a new teacher. She is very relaxed and explained everything we covered so well. Although she is a native speaker, her English is amazingly good, which makes such a difference. So communication was excellent, and I have now booked five more lessons.
