For the past 8 years I have been working in a public school in the Dominican Republic as a psychologist, attending and teaching children with learning and behavioral problems. I love helping people and I would like to use my knowledge to help you learn more about the Spanish language and have fun doing it.

I specialize in teaching advanced students from b2 and upwards according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I use a conversational teaching style, communicating only in spanish, based on listening and speaking, that presents vocabulary and grammar in a topic-based context.

Alejandra was very kind and understanding of my limited Spanish proficiency. My goal was to have authentic conversation in Spanish, which she provided. The entire 1-hour session was conducted in Spanish, which left me excited about having more practice with native speakers. Thank you, Alejandra.
