こんにちは！私はKenです。関西出身ですが、東京に30年以上住んでいます。大阪芸術大学で放送を専攻し、卒業後は東京で映画館のマネージャーをしていました。今は別の仕事をしていますが、映画はよく見ます。ゴジラや怪獣、特撮、ホラー映画、B級映画が好きです。最近では「ミッシング・チャイルド・ビデオテープ」が面白かったです。あとは、コスプレも楽しんでいます。歴史にも興味があり、戦国時代が好きです。皆さんとお話できるのを楽しみにしています！ Hi, I’m Ken. I live in Tokyo, but I was born and raised in Shiga in western Japan. After graduating from Osaka University of Arts with a degree in broadcasting, I worked as a manager at movie theaters in Tokyo. I’m still passionate about movies, especially Godzilla, kaiju, tokusatsu, horror, and B movies. My recent favorite is "Missing Child Videotape". I also enjoy cosplaying at events. I'm very interested in Japanese history as well. I’m looking forward to talking with you!

私はフレンドリーで明るく、話すのが好きです。皆さんが間違いを気にせず、安心してたくさん話せるように心がけています。レッスンはすべて日本語で行います。（英語はほんの少しだけ分かります。）中級や上級の方には、語彙を増やしたり表現の幅を広げたりするお手伝いもできます。 I'm friendly, fun, patient and easy to talk to. I encourage students to talk without being shy or afraid of making mistakes! I can only speak/understand little English and my lessons will be conducted in all Japanese. I like history and have a wide variety of interests, so I can help intermediate & advanced students increase vocabulary.

中級・上級（B1 - C2）向けの会話レッスンです。レッスンは日本語で行います。映画、歴史、特撮（とくさつ）、怪獣（かいじゅう）、Scifi、アニメ、日本のサブカルチャーなどについて楽しく話しましょう！就職の面接の練習や、プレゼンの練習なども対応します。 My lessons are for intermediate & advanced students. My lesson will be conversational. We will talk in Japanese about movies, history, anime, Japan's subculture etc...I will help you with the vocabulary and phrases. But the most important thing is to have fun! Cancellation policy: Lessons can only be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours prior to the start time. If a student fails to attend a lesson, please understand that the lesson will not be refunded or rescheduled. Thank you.

Ken Sensei always provides lots of follow-up links after lessons, to help answer my questions. He has a lot of cultural and historical knowledge which makes our discussions very interesting.

ケンさん has been wonderful for the ten months and 40 lessons I have had him as a teacher. He was happy to discuss any topics I brought up, from education to history, to current issues and beyond, and always had interesting stories and viewpoints. I would strongly encourage any prospective student to take a lesson and see for yourself.

Ken is always enjoyable to talk to and he shares lot of articles and links so that I can learn more about the things we discuss in class. If you're interested in either current newsworthy events in Japan or historical ones I recommend booking one of his classes!
