I love composing haiku, Japanese tarditional poems. I write a few haiku every day and share them at haiku meet- ups. I also like traveling, healty diet, well being, movies and bird watching. 学习日语不难。我们一起加油！ I have been teaching Japanese since 1995, and I currently teach academic writing at universities in Osaka. If you want to improve your writing or need help with essays, I can support you. I have studied several languages myself—English, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese— so I know the challenges and joys you face. As of April 2026, I have taught more than 2000 lessons on italki, and each lesson has helped me grow as an online instructor. In my lessons, I try to speak less and let you speak more. I use pictures, gestures, and simple Japanese first, and then explain in English when necessary. I want each lesson to feel comfortable and useful for YOU.
