I've been studying with Danny on a consistent basis for several months in preparation for medical studies in the Netherlands. Thanks to our lessons, I have become more comfortable and fluent in Dutch. Danny's passion for languages, teaching, and helping students is evident from our lessons. The conversations are always stimulating and adapted to my level, and he shows genuine interest in what is being said. He is a knowledgeable and patient mentor and can explain concepts in a simple way. Most importantly, the feedback provided is tailored and always constructive. In addition, Danny incorporates cultural elements into the material to broaden understanding of the country's culture. The lessons are casual yet educational, and time flies by quickly! Danny is one of a kind, he sets the teaching standard very high ! I’m also a teacher myself and hence in terms of other’s teaching quality, I’m very picky. Danny is super friendly, organised and motivating, immediately one would feel very welcome and encouraged to speak. In the class, Danny is always well-prepared with a clear structure of what we’d do; very clear explanations when I had doubts and he’s very generous with compliments when appropriate. Each class comes with homework for next class and follow-up review of last class. Of course, grammar, vocabulary, cultural elements and pronunciation are also covered continuously. In other platforms, I often feel discouraged when teachers corrected students like a police officer, but Danny knows how to help you improve the language with great patience and kindness. I really enjoy learning dutch with Danny and within less than 10 classes I could already see huge progress of my language. Thank you so much!
