Hi, my name is Eliana. I am Portuguese and I always attend Portuguese school. I learn English from a quite young age, and I always like to learn about other cultures, in fact, I am learning Italian and therefore I understand the difficulty in learning a foreign language.
I love my native language and for that reason I´m happy to help other´s learning how to speak Portuguese with more confidence. Since I live in Oporto, you can expect a North accent.

It´s important for me, as the time goes passed, that the student can be able to communicate in Portuguese and that he can speak with confidence. This way, my classes can be adapted to the student´s goals. As a teacher, my role is to guide and motivate so it would be more comfortable communicate in Portuguese. Most of the time, the classes will be in a conversational format. We will talk about typical Portuguese expressions or it can also be theme classes if the student wants to.

Super! 10/10 Not only Eliana is very friendly and smiling, she also makes you feel comfortable, explains very well and answers all your questions. Also today I had some connections problems and she was super kind and flexible.

Eliana has a great amount of materials available to help me start my journey to learning some Portuguese and we are able to use my other languages to compare, such as Spanish, French and Italian. I liked that she also gave me a better understanding of Portuguese phonetics, as well as the differences between Brazilian and Portuguese. It was a fun and interesting lesson for my first try at Portuguese!

Eliana was accommodating by catering the lesson for me and my needs, which was to understand the pronunciation and hear the differences of Portuguese compared to the other languages I know. I enjoyed learning with Eliana!
