Hi! My name is Cynthia, and Iām originally from Hamburg, Germany. I speak German, English, and Spanish fluently, and Iāve always had a passion for exploring the world. By the age of 22, I had already lived in five different countriesāSpain (Barcelona), England (Lancaster), Poland (Szczecin), and Mexico (Tijuana). Iām currently based in the beautiful city of CancĆŗn, Mexico.
Professionally, I also work as the Supervisor of the office of the to the Honorary Consul of Germany in CancĆŗn.

Iām a passionate, open-minded teacher with over 10 years of experience. I speak English and Spanish at a fluent level and learned both from scratch, so I understand the challenges of language learning firsthand. My lessons focus on fluency, confidence, and vocabulary-building through engaging, personalized conversations. Iāve taught students of all ages, mostly adults who want to improve their speaking skills or prepare for exams. I provide clear materials, optional homework, and regular feedback to track progress. Today, I had my first lesson with Cynthia. It was a great experience. She was very engaged, made corrections when I struggled, and always asked follow-on questions that progressed the conversation. I will enjoy learning from her as I continue learning the German language.
