I have had 10 French lessons with Carlos and have enjoyed all of them. Carlos is very easy to talk to and is very flexible in conversation. He does a great job balancing correcting me as well as letting me try and express my ideas without interruption. We have had many interesting conversations on a variety of topics, many of which I choose. In just these 10 lessons I have seen a noticeable difference in my ability to speak and express myself in French! Carlos also provides plenty of written notes during the conversation which I can view in the chat and refer back to even after the lesson is finished. Carlos has helped tremendously in my spoken grammar as well as giving more practical advice on phrases and words which are more commonly used. I would highly recommend Carlos as a teacher which is why I will continue to take lessons with him.

Carlos has been the perfect teacher and conversation partner for me for a couple of weeks. I contacted him when I just arrived in Medellin and have made a lot of progress already. Initially, I tried different teachers here on iTalki but quickly realized that Carlos was the best for me. He adapted to my level of Spanish (A2) perfectly and he makes it look easy to have real conversations. I have collected and learned tons of words, expressions and sentences that he patiently types for me during the lessons. If, like me, you believe that language learning should be fun and engaging, then Carlos is the one I highly recommend.

Carlos always has a great lesson plan prepared. His love of languages is clearly evident as he is able to simplify grammar complexity in a effective way while also providing relevant tips about usage depending on the context.
