Hi! I'm Ilia, a native Italian tutor with a passion for languages and people.
I'm 25 and currently finishing my Master’s degree in Chinese Language and Culture in Venice, Italy. I recently had the amazing chance to study for six months in Nanjing, China.
I’ve been teaching Italian to students from all over the world for five years now, and I truly love helping them build confidence through fun and engaging conversations.
I’m a colorful, cheerful and outgoing person — I enjoy walking, cooking, singing… and yes, I talk a lot! Ops.

LET’S MAKE SOME MISTAKES!
As both a student and a teacher, I truly believe that the best way to learn a language is to communicate without fear. That’s why I always encourage my students to speak as much as possible and to explore a wide variety of everyday topics.
My method is based on the idea of learning through meaningful conversation.
We choose macro-themes together — such as travel, food, hobbies, daily routines or work — and use them as a way to grow your vocabulary, improve fluency, and gain real confidence in speaking. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I offer personalized conversation lessons for students of all levels — beginner, intermediate or advanced.
We can talk about everyday topics like food, travel, hobbies, or relationships, or explore specific subjects based on your interests and goals (exams, work, culture, grammar, etc.).
The focus is always on building vocabulary, confidence, and fluency through natural dialogue.
I also offer a ten lessons package for total beginners, lessons will be delivered in English or Mandarin Chinese. For more information please read down below.

Incredibly friendly and engaging! She cares deeply and never makes me feel embarrassed when I make mistakes. She uses personal examples to make the lesson more memorable and provides many examples to build vocabulary fast. Would highly recommend to students of any level!

Ilia is an amazing teacher, she's patient, thorough and very easy to talk to. Never a dull moment :)
She takes detailed notes for the student to review every class and makes sure to correct you whenever you make repeated mistakes.
She has been super helpful on my Italian learning journey, as well as my brother's. She was able to adapt the lessons to our different levels and we are both extremely satisfied with the results.
