I graduaded with a master title from two programs simultaneously: Translation and Interpreting of English language and Applied Ethics in Slovakia. I speak Slovak, English, Spanish and Czech. I love nature, solo traveling, yoga, meditations, books, learning, clothes making, photography and animals. Me gradué como master de dos programas simultáneamente: Traducción e Interpretación del idioma inglés y Ética Aplicada en Eslovaquia. Hablo eslovaco, inglés, español y checo. Me encanta la naturaleza, viajar sola, el yoga, la meditación, los libros, el aprendizaje, la confección de ropa, la fotografía y los animales.

I adjust every single class individually to fit your needs. I believe that through communication you can learn the most because you use theory directly in practice. I'm a forever student and I know that learning a new language brings a lot of struggles. Constant learning made me a very patient person. Together we'll improve your grammar and communication skills. Ajusto cada clase individualmente para satisfacer tus necesidades. Creo que a través de la comunicación puedes aprender más porque usas la teoría directamente en la práctica. Soy un estudiante eterno y sé que aprender un nuevo idioma trae muchas luchas. El aprendizaje constante me hizo una persona muy paciente.

During the first class we will discuss your current level, your goals and learning process which is the most suitable for you. I know that every person is different and everybody needs something different. Together we will create the best version of class for you. The basis of my classes are conversation, because I think it's the best way of learning. Durante la primera clase hablaremos de tu nivel actual, tus objetivos y proceso de aprendizaje cual es el más adecuado para ti. Sé que cada persona es diferente y todos necesitan algo diferente. Juntos crearemos la mejor versión de clase para ti. La base de mis clases es la conversación, porque creo que es la mejor forma de aprender.

Excellent lesson as always! Jana is alway very prepared with both materials for class and with a huge number of resources I can use to practice Slovak on my own time (listening, reading, grammar, and more). She understands Slovak grammar very well and can clearly explain and break down each concept so it isn’t overwhelming. Each lesson she makes sure to have conversations so that I can practice speaking, and she is warm, patient and encouraging so it isn’t intimidating to try to speak. Definitely would recommend Jana’s classes!

I had another great lesson with Jana today. She is super friendly and has great vibes and the lessons are always a lot of fun, too. When I started learning Slovak I didn't know where to start and was frankly overwhelmed because I don't know any other slavic language. But from lesson 1 Jana managed not only to motivate me but also to guide me through what to learn, what to practice in class and how I can continue learning in my own time. She also adapts everything to how much time I have and what I can realistically do on my own time. And the materials she uses are fantastic, from great youtube and podcast recommendations to vocabulary lists and her own material, Jana puts a lot of effort and preparation into her material and classes and really pays off. And she still manages to keep the class fun and conversation focussed! In short, great material, awesome teacher, good vibes, 10/10. Ďakujem Jana a uvidíme sa na ďalšej hodine!

Jana is a fantastic teacher! I was super intimidated by the Slovak language, but she has made learning easy and fun. Since I started lessons with Jana, I've become more excited and motivated to learn Slovak. In addition to being easy-going & encouraging, she's incredibly organised. She always comes prepared with good conversation topics, materials and exercises.
