Jie

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about several topics. Jie told me about a man that helped many people who recently passed away. We also talked about people exercising in different ways, and about AI-generated videos. Lessons with Jie are especially helping my listening comprehension because Jie speaks naturally at a normal speed. Jie always comes up with interesting topics for conversation and it seems like the lesson goes by quickly!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about many things...such as kids having strange sleep schedules and the Chinese tradition related to the month after giving birth. Having conversation lessons with Jie is helping me improve, and Jie listens well (even though my pronunciation is a work-in-progress)!

Great lesson with Jie! Jie told me about a recent vacation that she had. Jie showed me pictures of the places and things she saw (and ate). We talked a lot about tea, and Jie showed me all kinds of tea pots, cups and things. It was really interesting to hear all about tea...and Jie laughed when I told her that I use tea bags. Jie has a fun sense of humor!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about different habits of people from North and South China. Jie also explained some Chinese history about the different dynasties. Jie always has plenty to talk about, and it was interesting learning so much about history in the lesson!

Great lesson with Jie! Jie told me about her family dynamics, which was amusing. We also talked about our family and extended family, and the different relationships in the family. Jie has a fun sense of humor about all sorts of things, so her lessons are very entertaining!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about the Lunar New Year, and Jie told me about many of the things she did. Jie also told me about all sorts of different food specialties that people like to eat around this time. Jie always has interesting things to talk about, which often involves food!
