I am a German language teacher and native speaker, specialising in adult learners who want to use German precisely and confidently – not just to get by, but to express themselves clearly in professional and complex situations.
My teaching combines over ten years of professional experience in communications and public relations with an internationally recognised qualification: a university certificate in German language teaching from Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, awarded in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut.
I work in a focused, learner-centred way – guiding the learning process actively while maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere. My teaching emphasises clarity, precision of expression and conscious language use, supported by targeted grammar work where helpful.
At the start, we clarify your goals, preferences and current needs. This may include conversation, grammar, exam preparation or specific communicative situations. Your objectives form the basis of our work together.
Experience has shown that language develops most effectively when used meaningfully. Topics you are genuinely interested in therefore often play a central role in our lessons. Der Unterricht mit Tanja macht mir viel Spass. Ihr Unterricht hat einen grossen Mehrwert, ist qualitativ hochwertig und findet in einer entspannten Atmosphäre statt. Mit Tanja hat sich mein Deutsch verbessert. Ich kann sie empfehlen und freue mich schon auf unser nächstes Treffen.
