I’ve been thinking about teaching recently, and, at the end, whatever course it may be, from the moment Skype is on – I am not there, in front of you, in order to pass the time or to complete a course. No.
You put lots of time, effort and passion, into your language-learning – and my aspiration is to share your joy and enthusiasm – and, of course, to help you achieve more, to help you set goals and reach them, and - to be happy together with you at seeing the results!
I want to share with you all the shortcuts I know – and invent new ones, together with you.

There are two "teaching modes" for me - first - before you can speak, second - when you are ready to start speaking. :)
One (a.k.a. "beginners") - is structured. The lessons are planned, I walk you through all the necessary basics; if you do not start from zero -filling the gaps, "holding your hand", so to say, and helping you start speaking. That's what my HCC is all about (Hebrew Crash Course, see more here).
Then, my second mode (a.k.a. "intermediate\advanced") - is purely free-style-speaking. I really believe that it's the best use of your time with the tutor.
For both - there is homework, if you like! Because learning does not end with the lesson, lesson is just a benchmark!;)Mijn lesmateriaal

I can't thank Alisa enough for all the help and encouragement she has given to me on this learning journey. Having learned Hebrew for a total of 2 years and being here in Israel for 8months, many are amazed by my level of Hebrew, and I credit my dear private tutor Alisa for her tutelage. Over the 30-odd lessons with her, I come out of each lesson more confident and eager to improve. Alisa is well equipped to impart her knowledge in the language and even goes the extra mile such as reading my academic articles to discuss with me and even proofreading my Hebrew blog posts. It is exciting to see even Alisa herself actively seeking ways to expand her teaching toolbox and tailor to the needs of her students. Couldn't have asked for a better tutor!
