Sun Lee

I've been with Sun Teacher for awhile, her classes are always very informative and helpful, and she is really skilled at explaining things in a clear way and providing context for new information. She uses the Notion app to help students keep track of their progress and what they previously learned, which has been incredibly convenient for reviewing between classes. She diversifies the content and topics very well, and teaches a range of vocabulary, natural expressions, and grammar structures in a really fun and engaging way! I've had classes with several different great instructors, but Sun really stands out, would highly recommend!

Sun 선생님's genuine dedication to help me improve my Korean skills is on another level. As an intermediate learner, the guidance and support she provides me in our conversation lessons has been immensely valuable. I’m really impressed by all the interesting vocabulary and expressions that she is able to smoothly weave in the lessons, making my Korean sound more refined and natural. She is also always ensuring that I have a good time while learning. I’ve never seen a teacher put in as much effort as Sun does and I am so touched by her passion, as every lesson with her is both impactful and meaningful!

I tried several teachers on italki before finding Sun 선생님, and I feel like I’ve finally found the right match for me. She is incredibly patient, positive, and encouraging — which is especially helpful for someone like me who is introverted and struggles with speaking. Her lessons are clearly well prepared and tailored to your needs. She always provides notes and homework, and her organized approach really helps with steady progress. I’m truly grateful and wholeheartedly recommend her.

Truly one of the best Korean teachers on italki! Class with Sun쌤 is one of the highlights of my week. I know she works hard behind the scenes (before, during, and after class), but her teaching style seems so effortless because she is able to include grammar and vocabulary naturally through lively conversation. She's genuinely interested in her students' lives and incorporates their interests in conversation and grammar practice. Time always flies by during our lessons because of her engaging teaching, which is oftentimes filled with laughter and smiles. I continue to feel grateful to be able to learn with Sun! 감사합니다!
