Fun and passionate Dutch teacher with own materials and detailed feedback I've been teaching for more than 7 years now and believe that making my students feel comfortable, is one of my strengths. I like to make some random jokes in my classes to keep the topic interesting and really analyze how you, the student, can improve. I write down notes and am always well prepared so we can be as effective as possible. I see myself as an all-round teacher, but my focus is usually on fluency, accuracy and speaking techniques (making you sound more natural). Of course I also try to help you to learn new vocabulary (words) and idioms and can help you with any other skill or topic. Just tell me what you want to improve and I'll help you!

As such I slowly learned how to teach people. Now I feel confident to teach English as well as Dutch. Teaching is a lot of fun to me, seeing students grow from beginners into full native speakers is great. As such I want to teach more people here on Italki. I studied science and technology In the Netherlands and one of my jobs was training new employers to get ready for their job. In Thailand I started to teach at the local primary school of my village. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to get my TEFL certificate and did additional courses for natural learning, specially for kindergarten kids. I have experience teaching at kindergarten, primary school and secondary school.
