When I was 15, I spent six months at a high school in Australia. Later, I helped giving math lessons for a whole year in Botswana – teaching it in English. I’ve worked as a ski instructor, teaching people of all ages, languages and backgrounds and that taught me how to be patient, how to explain things in different ways, and how to keep people motivated, even when it gets tough. I also worked for three years as a mentor for volunteers. During that time, I planned and led a ton of seminars – and realized that what I really enjoy is making things understandable and relevant.
