Korean language class for a learning experience that feels just like chatting with your friends 📅 I just started a full-time job, so I've temporarily closed the package and will have limited availability for a while. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. As a student in the university in the UK, I engaged in language exchange with students who wanted to learn Korean for a year. Through official university-assigned partnerships, I met with students at least once a week and conducted classes where we would engage in conversations for an hour.

I speak English, German, and French as foreign languages, and I have passed the C1 exams in all three. At the moment, I’m focusing on refreshing my knowledge of Mandarin, which I learned as a child. This will allow me to explain the nuanced differences between these languages. As a passionate language learner myself, I’m excited to encourage you and share my know-how when it comes to learning new languages.

What I felt as teaching Korean here is that I have to understand Korean language with a learning perspective of Foreigners. I realize that it will be able to be extremely hard for the foreigners to understand Korean even small differences of the same meaning that Koreans don’t care deeply. Therefore, I will study Korean more and try to teach Korean easier and more effectively for my students.

This led me to open my own Korean language school. It was located in the city of Fortaleza. From 2016 to 2021 more than 400 students studied in my school. During this period I gained extensive experience in planning language classes, preparing didactic material, and teaching Korean for people who never had contact with Korean before. Later on, due to the pandemic, we switched our classes to online which also gave me experience in teaching using online technologies. You can finish learning Hangeul in about 5 classes (2 weeks). 2. Beginner (A1-A2) - Usually consistent students (2 times a week) get to A2 level when they finish 20 classes with me. Which is about 3 months. This level, you can speak present/past/future tense naturally and we can communicate with easy expressions. 3. Intermediate (B1-B2): Now it's time to focus on Sino-Korean words. We will try to expand our expressions - use different speaking grammars that have the same meaning and get the intention of speaking. You will be trained to distinguish which expressions are more appropriate by the situation.

I have taught English to Chinese students at the beginner level and also adults when I was living for 3 months in Lviv, Ukraine. The way I taught my English classes with adults is taking excerpts from a podcast and discussing at length the conversation taking place. The way I like to learn languages is mainly through Anki, but also through conversation. We can discuss your goals and can come up with a strategy to reach the Intermediate Plateau (B2 level) in the target language that you would like to learn whether it be English or Korean.

I used to help people to speak Korean more naturally and to proofread their Korean writing. I’ve been teaching myself English for about two and a half years.
