I have been teaching Nepali for 7 years and French for 12 years. I am a certified teacher with a master degree in teaching French as a foreign language. I’ve been teaching Nepali professionally since 2014. Over the years, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work with students from more than 50 different countries—each one bringing their own story, culture, and curiosity. I used to tutor to middle school and high school students when I was in Nepal. I started off teaching Nepali in person, mostly working with travelers, expats, and anyone interested in learning the language here in Nepal. However, after the pandemic hit in 2019, I transitioned to online teaching—and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Going online allowed me to connect with learners from across the globe, and opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

Let's share the joy of language learning ✨ My German teacher always turned the "scary" language into fun learning sessions - with each complicated grammar rule, she added a story of it's origin. She showed us how words have not only meanings, but also stories and histories. I learned not just how to speak the language, but why it is spoken in this way, how it has evolved with time and culture, and how we can enjoy it. Taking inspiration from my dear teacher, I'll try to teach you not to just speak Nepali, but also to live in it and love it.
