A qualified Norwegian teacher with over 15 years of experience My current teaching style most closely aligns with the communicative approach because I believe that the main purpose of learning any foreign language is the use of language for meaningful communication and being able to get to know people all over the world through language, culture, books, cuisine, etc. In my classroom I always try to foster my students to speak as much as possible providing them with authentic materials and creating real-life situations for discussions.

As a teacher I focus on creating a comfortable atmosphere for the student, where you can make mistakes without worrying. I like to have informal conversations about whatever the student wants to talk about, of course in Norwegian. Any speaking practice is good!
