Portuguese Language Specialist | A1–B2 Learning Made Easy I began my language teaching journey in 2016 and have the privilege of teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where I earned a postgraduate degree in Teaching Portuguese as a Non-native Language. I hold TEFL and TEYL certificates, and I've honed my skills in teaching grammar and conversation to learners from age 4 to adults. I find joy in working with people from diverse backgrounds, believing in the mutual enrichment of sharing knowledge and experiences.

I am very committed to teaching so that my students really learn, notice their mistakes but don't feel bad about them, because mistakes are part of this language construction. I prepare a PowerPoint presentation with pronunciation tips (and accents), introduction to phonetic symbols (Portuguese phonetic tips) and the sounds of Brazilian Portuguese, isolated vocabularies and then small everyday phrases using such vocabulary, idioms, cultural curiosities and small doses of grammar when necessary. The student will be monitored during the class and I will always be attentive to corrections and improvements.

In my hometown, I have taught portuguese for foreigners students in my university for about 4 years. When I traveled to Cambodia I taught kids english and french in a small town.
