My goal in teaching is to encourage students to learn how to think. As an educated anthropologist, I always wanted people to know more about the world than what is usually expected of them. Cultures and societies in which we live often impose some boundaries and restrictions. However, by comparing experiences from other cultures, we can always see a broader view. Maybe it sounds a little bit ambitious, but my intention is not only to teach my students Serbian but also to teach them to think more freely about themselves and the societies in which they live.

I have a Master degree in the English language and literature, with French being my second language, and I have amassed over six years of teaching experience. I have mostly been teaching online and working with people from different cultures, but I also have significant experience in teaching in actual brick-and-mortar schools. My first professional engagement was in a Belgrade high school and in a school for foreign languages. Hi there potential student 😃 here's what you need to know about me in a nutshell - I've been teaching languages since 2014 and what I've found is that most people don't like learning from boring grammar books. Why? Because you can waste months learning complex grammar rules and when you actually arrive at your destination, you are shocked when you realize you are not able to order food or have a simple conversation with a local.

I have over three years of language teaching experience, and my classes are highly interactive, and I am always open to a proposition. I tend to dedicate all of my focus to students and their progress, and I see us not only as teacher/student but also as a team on our journey through all the beauties and obstacles of the Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian/Montenegrin language.
