I like to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you’ll feel free to speak and make mistakes — because, IMHO, that’s how real learning happens. I sincerely believe every student is unique, and it’s a real pleasure to build meaningful connections with them. To me, teaching is a mutual journey of sharing and discovery.

As mentioned, I believe having a native grasp in both English and Spanish is an advantage. It allows me to easily translate idiomatic concepts and expressions that don’t have literal equivalent from one language to the other. I can draw meaning from my native understanding of both languages (and my experience in using both in daily life) to find the right examples and the closest translations from the source to the target language. I studied linguistics and, even though it is generally not required for a language teacher to be trained in linguistics, there is a growing number of experts in the community who believe it's a huge plus. I've drawn countless knowledge from it to teach.

I am graduated from UAEM, which is the most important University in the state where I live, and even before I finished my bachelor’s degree, I started to teach English in two primary schools. On the other hand, I also have experience helping graduated students to write their academic texts in English and Spanish. A partir de esas conversaciones, surgirán las dificultades gramaticales, lingüísticas y de pronunciación que se irán solucionando de a poco y de acuerdo a la necesidad. Así en forma divertida y ágil, se irá conociendo y perfeccionando el Idioma Español.
