I began teaching Italian as a native speaking teacher in 2012. During the years I focused more on teaching German literature and language at university, I worked as high school teacher in German and Swedish as a second language and I took different training courses concerning language teaching, pedagogy and didactic. I see myself as a very patient and understanding teacher, who likes to explain, help, and try and try again until we reach our goals. As a teacher, I always think that I have a lot to learn from my students and I see teaching as a great opportunity to meet new people, share competences, interests and experiences and learn more about the world.

I have had 3000+ lessons online with people all around the world which has taught me to identify common difficulties that some nationalities would have. For example; a dutch and an Italian will encounter different challenges. ✅ ‘’Talking’’ doesn’t make you fluent BUT being strategic and creative while talking does a wonderful job to reach fluency and confidence. In 2014 I started teaching Swedish to people from across the world. My teaching approach varies depending on the students personal goals and level.

Conversational practise with Emilia! My focus is on helping you learn how to have conversations in Swedish. My hours are flexible so booking a lesson with me should be easy! I want to help you feel more comfortable talking Swedish and if you have any area you want to improve I'll try to help you as much as I can!
