meaning : 화가 바뀌어 복이 된다. = 처음에는 나빴던 일이 나중에 보니 좋은 일이었다.

meaning: 어떤 힘든 상황에서도 극복할 수 있는 희망이 있다.
Every cloud has a silver lining.

하늘이 무너져도 솟아날 구멍이 있다.

meaning: 기다리는 사람에게 좋은 일이 생긴다.

meaning:  아들이 아빠를 똑같이 닮았다.

meaning: add insult to injury.

meaning: 아직 일어나지도 않은 일에 대해서 호들갑 떨지 마라.

meaning: 처음으로 되돌릴 수 없다.

meaning: 다른 사람에 대해 이야기 했는데, 그 사람이 갑자기 나타났을 때 사용하는 말.

meaning: 때로는 모르는 것이 아는 것보다 낫다.
