Spanish pronouns can be a bit confusing, let's study them! The first 5 terms are the singular ones. Next 5 are plural.

Subject Pronouns

You. The singular form. "Tú" is used with friend and family; tis usage varies from country to country.

You. The singular form. Its more formal than "Tú". It is used when meeting people for the first time, in business situations, and with a person you might not know well. Its abbreviation is "Ud."

You. The plural form. "vosotros" is used only in Spain.

They. The masculine plural form "ellos" refers to a group of males or to a group that includes both males and females.

They. The femenine plural form "ellas" refers to a group that includes only females.

You. The plural form "ustedes" is used to address more than one person. Latin Americans use ustedes for the plural of both "tú" and "usted". Its abbreviation is "Uds."

There is no subject pronoun "it" in Spanish. "Él" and "Ella" refer to people and sometimes to animals, but no to things.
