This morning, I accidentally overslept and ended up being late for my part-time job. I’m feeling really bad about it because it was totally my fault. I usually set multiple alarms, but somehow I didn’t wake up in time today. I hope my manager isn’t too upset. I’ll apologize sincerely and try to make up for it by working extra hard.

Weather has been the hottest topic in the past weeks around the world, because it's really hot outside this year. When we walk on the streets with a 42 ℃ temperature, breathing even becomes hard. I can't use the word "scorcher" to describe my feeling about the weather, "melting" is definitely more proper. When I read the news about weather around the world, people from many countires are just suffering from hyperthermia. So,the weather here is also very hot likes yesterday. I hope that it will be cooler in the future weekends. As for me, I still plan a trip to visit some places next week where the temperature are still high. Actually, It's a challenge for me. In such a hot day, what things can make us feel better? An icecream? A swimming pool? or just staying at a room with an air conditioner until the fall comes?

This morning, I ate breakfast with my friend at the university cafeteria. My friend lives far from the university, so she usually eats breakfast at home. But today, she woke up early and came to school to eat with me. I had curry udon, and she had fried salmon. Both meals looked delicious. I was very happy to eat breakfast together. We talked a lot and laughed. It was a nice start to the day. I hope we can do it again sometime. Eating with friends makes food taste even better.

Hello. Today was the final of the Biblibattle. Everyone gave great presentations. I was nervous, but I managed to get third place. I received 2,000 yen as a prize, so I'm going to buy some sunscreen on Amazon. I still have two tests to take, so I'll switch gears after lunch. See you tomorrow.

Recently, ITZY came to Japan for a fan event. After that, they visited a convenience store and a restaurant in my hometown. I found out the next day through Instagram. When I saw the posts, I was really surprised and happy, but I also felt very sad and disappointed because I really wanted to see them in person, but I missed the chance.

I was planning to go see fireworks with my friends today. However, the fireworks festival was canceled due to rough waves. I wanted to go, but I do not like crowds, so I feel relieved. I am not thinking of any other plan. We can't see fireworks, but I hope we can relax.

Yesterday, I slept until the afternoon. I didn’t go to class at first because I wanted to study at home. But I had too many assignments, so I went to the university to take the class. After that, I found that the book I needed for my report was in another campus library. I went there, did part of my report, and then went home. The report was very hard to finish.

Today I took an university English test in my first period class. The test was a vocabulary test so it was very easy. I've had tests all week and I don't have school tomorrow so I'm going to sleep a lot. I want to watch a lot of movies and YouTube tomorrow. I had a hamburger for dinner. It was very delicious.
