The trial lesson enables you to have a glimpse of my classes and to discuss about your needs and my teaching style.
During the trial lesson, we will do an oral comprehension and production activity so that I can assess your oral skills. Then I will suggest a learning and refresher programs. Regarding absolute beginners, we will do an oral activity which involves learning how to introduce oneself: name, age, nationality, occupation.
I will also show you examples of the materials I use in my classes.

Listening comprehension - Reading comprehension - Oral production

The aim of this course is to express oneself spontaneously on a given subject. The learner makes an oral presentation based on a video, podcast or press article, and then has to express his/her personal opinion on the subject.
The material will be sent as a PDF file and contains
- a listening comprehension and oral production activity on current affairs and various themes, such as cinema, the Internet, ecology, love, philosophy, veganism, technology, sport etc.
- a conversation sheet containing general questions on the topic and questions about your personal opinion
- a reading comprehension on the topic
- a debate worksheet
- a series of creative writing and speaking activities
- a vocabulary worksheet

Real talk practice (B1–C2)

Phonetics

I propose various games and activities to systematise the basic rules of French phonetics.
The aim is to familiarise the beginner with the rules and difficulties of French phonetics and to systematise its use.

Speaking and listening

This course aims at acquiring the fundamental bases in order to be able to have a basic conversation in French. The lessons are made up of a series of oral comprehension, written and oral expression activities.
Here are the notions you need to know in order to reach A1 level:
- The alphabet and pronunciation
- Spelling
- Greeting - tu and vous (formal and informal)
- Introduce yourself (1) - name, origin, nationality + verbs: to be (être) - to come (venir)
- Introduce yourself (2) - Meeting: ask questions about work and study
- Expressions to ask questions in class
- Numbers and date + pronunciation
- Introduce yourself (3): sports, age, numbers, date of birth
- Presentations : family situation
- Articles: masculine - feminine (un, une, des / le, la, l’, les)

Preparation for exams

Grammar
Each sequence is based on the following model: an oral or written comprehension from an authentic document allowing to introduce the grammar point followed or preceded by an oral production, an activity in which the learner is led to discover the grammar rule, one or more practice exercises, an oral production activity using the grammar point, an exercise to do at home.
The activities proposed are intended to be fun, motivating and dynamic: the exercises and oral production require more creativity on the part of the learner, and the activities are more cross-curricular, calling on a variety of lexical fields so as not to be limited to the simple grammatical aspect. The aim of these activities is to promote a lively vision of grammar, hence the important part played by oral production.

Vocabulary through oral expression activities
I offer activities to discover, practice and revise vocabulary on different themes through games, quizzes, sketchnotes, posters etc. Some activities are purely vocabulary oriented and others give more space to free expression. These activities will allow you to discover, revise or deepen the vocabulary of everyday items, such as food, clothes, furniture etc. Through them you will be able to talk about many elements of everyday life. I will ask questions and make observation remarks on the grammar point. The learners have to answer questions, justify their proposal and to debate on chosen topics. Having a debate allows students to practice and improve their oral skills.

Oral and written production
The topics are presented in the form of a short text accompanied by a picture or a document + videos, songs, podcasts, etc. Each topic deals with a different lexical field or situation of written or oral communication, e.g. asking information, writing a cover letter, making a complaint at the post office, etc. They will immerse learners in credible communication situations. I suggest topic that mobilise the skills required for the DELF.

Speak confidently: All skills covered (A2 to C2)

Prononciation and reading lessons aim to improve speaking and pronunciation. 
The courses are based on various exercises to help you speak as a French speaker.

Prononciation and Reading

Certified Neurolanguage Coach (ICF-accredited), I help learners speak French more confidently using a brain-based approach. Sessions focus on practical speaking, reducing anxiety, and finding learning strategies that work for your brain. Lessons are personalised, goal-oriented, and immediately applicable to real-life and professional situations.

Master of Linguistics and Literary Studies 
Completed advanced studies in French, translation, and linguistics to master the principles of language learning and pedagogy. This training enables me design effective, personalised lessons, and apply proven language acquisition strategies to help learners progress efficiently and confidently.

Intensive study of French, English, Spanish, including grammar, linguistics, literature, translation, and written expression. Courses also covered history and culture of each language, providing a strong foundation as a multilingual translator and language professional.

I work part-time as a liaison interpreter at the emergency centre for migrants arriving in the Canary Islands, their first stop in Europe. Using French, Spanish, Arabic, and English, I facilitate clear communication between staff and newcomers, helping them understand procedures, access services, and feel supported during sensitive or urgent situations. My role relies heavily on precise language use and cultural understanding.

I translated and subtitled international documentaries into French from Spanish, English, and Arabic. My work ensured accuracy, clarity, and cultural nuance, allowing French-speaking audiences to fully engage with the content while preserving the original tone, style, and intent of the filmmakers. I collaborated closely with directors and producers to maintain the integrity of each story.

I teach French to adult learners, with a focus on intermediate levels. I create personalised lessons to improve practical communication and clear pronunciation. I also work with mental health professionals who want to enhance their French for working with French-speaking patients. Through conversation, listening exercises, and interactive activities, I help students use French naturally in both everyday and professional situations, providing supportive feedback to build their confidence.

I worked alongside the French teacher to support students from grades 7 to 12, with a strong focus on beginners. I organised and delivered tutoring sessions in speaking, pronunciation, and basic writing, adapted learning materials, and led conversation activities to help students speak more confidently. I also contributed to cultural projects, including the school’s end-of-year show.

While I was a university student, I provided personalised academic support to children and teenagers with learning challenges, helping them complete homework, strengthen understanding of key concepts, and prepare effectively for language, history, and geography exams. I monitored and guided their progress throughout the school year and also assisted adult newcomers in developing practical French skills for everyday life and communication.
