American English for Teens

Learned about the fundamental aspects of language. Focus of study included: syntax, semantics, phonetics& phonology, morphology, pragmatics, and Spanish sociolinguistics & dialectology.

Worked with middle school and elementary  students at an after school private academy. Areas of curriculum included speaking and writing. Experience in teaching 9 different levels from beginners to advanced TOEFL lessons.

Prepared classes for international adult students. Taught general English for elementary and pre-intermediate levels. Prepared games and activities to enhance course material. Assessed and recorded students’ weekly progress.

Acquired international students through online advertising. Created unique classes from scratch tailored to each students’ needs. Areas of focus included speaking/conversation and writing, grammar, and business English for both individual and small group classes.
