Contact me before we begin if you have specific intentions for the lesson. Let me know if you want to get to know me as a teacher, or get a taster of what my lessons might be like. We'll make sure to start off on the right foot either way. I am focused on making every appointment match the student's needs, in a way that keeps both of us interested in where the next visit can take us.

In the first class, I'll ask you some simple questions and some difficult questions to keep you both relaxed and 'thinking on your feet'. As with all future lessons, I'll correct any major mistakes that you make by writing them in the chat window (So as to not disturb the flow of the conversation), and I'll give you some vocabulary in context as we go along, reintroducing the words nearer the end of the session to make them stick in your head.

I will spend my spare time reading articles or watching documentaries you find interesting in order to discuss them in the next class. I have no doubt we'll find a topic that we can both enjoy.

Conversational

I'll give creative writing homework at the end of every lesson, which we will go over together during the next. These are techniques I use to get past my own writer's block, and are a great way to see where you can improve in your English language skills. In fact, I would say that writing is without a doubt the best way to tear through the plateau effect in learning any language. And it's enjoyable.

With these lessons, I invite you to use my experience to correct any essays, documents, or creative writings you may have. I'm available for updates and questions outside of the allocated time.

We will go over the document together, and I will explain to you in real-time what corrections I'm making and why.
