This lesson looks at the expansion of the global economy and the issues it raises for the future. Students will watch a video explaining the different aspects of the problem and different economic views and will read an article discussing the concerns for leadership as we move forward into the future. Exercises focus on related vocabulary, reading and listening skills and offer students an opportunity to discuss questions on the topic. This group lesson is for adult English students (C2) who want to speak about a specific topic with a professional teacher and other students from all over the world! We will start by doing a warm-up introduction and discuss the chosen topic. Please note: This group class is for students at proficiency C2. The goal of each lesson is to discuss a specific topic, expand vocabulary, and improve the student's confidence as an English speaker in a relaxed and fun environment. Since this is a conversation class, I encourage each student to speak openly with other students. Ask questions and share your opinions! Due to this being a group lesson, students will not be corrected individually. Instead, collective corrections will be noted and sent to each student at the end of the class.
