This class is for people who have an upcoming job interview, or for those who are looking for a new job. My class will go through the basics of passing your job interview with some simple advice on 'dos and don'ts'. I will go through several basic interview questions that are based on your previous / current job, and then explain why they may be asked and how to answer them in a professional and impressive way. This session is the first of a series of classes with the later ones being focused on your personal attributes and qualities, your abilities and how they set you apart from other candidates, what you are looking for in your next job and your future career aspirations, why you are applying for the job, and many more subjects that are less common but still very useful to know about. The class is based around an interactive and attractive PowerPoint presentation with student participation being encouraged and embraced in the form of questions and comments between me as your tutor, and any other participants. In this class you will understand how to behave, answer questions, and most importantly, impress your interviewer(s). After taking this session, you will feel more confident when you begin your interview and will be able to understand more about why certain questions are being asked and the best way to answer them for yourself. The job market is very competitive and making a lasting and positive first impression on your interviewer is essential in obtaining your dream job.
